As we wait with baited breath to see the detailed federal fundraising reports for the hotly contested fifth congressional district, the first to surface comes from the retiring Rep. Darlene Hooley herself. Between the months of April and June, Hooley disbursed a total of $163,956 with a large chunk $100,000 going to her colleagues at the DCCC and over $28,000 going back to her contributors. Hooley still retains $187,280 in her account.
No reports have been filed yet for Democratic nominee Kurt Schrader or Republican nominee Mike Erickson.
