Thirteen Schrader/Marks showdowns and counting...


Senator Kurt Schrader has been doing joint appearances with Steve Marks for weeks now. Over the last 35 days -- since April Fool's Day -- Senator Schrader has appeared at 13 scheduled joint appearances. An average of more than one every three days.

Here's a complete list.

Note: Steve Marks was absent on April 21 in Tillamook and on April 22 in Milwaukie. Not sure where he was -- but he wasn't at the joint appearances.

Looking at their websites, it all seems to be the same. Health care, end the war, same old liberal-blib-blab issues.

Watch the Willamette Week interview. You'll see what I mean.

If I wanted to hear predictable banal platitudes that go unchallenged, I'd watch the Republican National Convention.

Someone needs to make these guys debate. Make it interesting.
