The race for Portland mayor is heating up.
Current Mayor Tom Potter said at a press conference this morning that he is throwing his support behind businessman Sho Dozono.
His support of Dozono leaves long-time city councilman Sam Adams, out in the cold. Potter and Adams have been at odds before over numerous issues, and the former's endorsement of Dozono was spmewhat expected.
Potter called Dozono “a guy who loves Portland.”
Adams, who has also made an issue over his own love for the city, plans to comment on the endorsement later today.
The Oregonian has endorsed GOP State Rep. John Lim for re-election, and wants Democrat Suzanne Van Orman to replace retiring Republican Patti Smith's seat. The newspaper is backing ... >
