“Sadly, Gordon Smith’s record shows he’s an obstacle, not a partner to Ron Wyden,” DPO Chair Meredith Wood Smith said. “Gordon Smith will run around the state promoting the Smith Myth that he works with Wyden and challenges Bush, but Oregonians know better. Oregonians know Gordon Smith votes with President Bush 90 percent of the time and opposes Ron Wyden on the important issues facing Oregon. While Ron Wyden wants to lower the cost of prescription drugs for seniors and combat climate change, Gordon Smith cancels Wyden’s votes. While Ron Wyden protects a woman’s right to choose, Gordon Smith consistently and vehemently suppresses a woman’s basic right to choose.” Paid for by the Democratic Party of Oregon. Not authorize
