In this election Hillary Clinton does not deserve the title of underdog but bad dog. The best thing that Democrats can do for America is to swat her on the nose by denying her fund raising efforts.

I'm with Larry. Clinton, go away. I voted already by mail, signed sealed delivered, and not for your deceptions and reckless promises, intimidations and maneuvers, not for your many faces of this campaign. I am sorry you didn't turn out to be a person of character and integrity because I, too, want a woman president. Kathleen Silbelius of Kansas. And I don't want you in the VP role. You have proven that you can compete, you can dominate, but you cannot collaborate. And, you cannot consider the higher good in what you do.

The only way Hillary can redeem herself is to drop out of the race now with her head high. You still have substance but time and generation gap have overtaken you. Let people remember you for your good deeds rather than the hurricane Hillary who destroyed the Democratic party.

What good things have obama done? But misguide the voters? Especially young voters by promising change. These young people are not undrstanding the consequences of change. Reminder, in 2000 young people voted for bush because of change and look what happened. Obama wont do anything for the young voters. He knows they are vulnerable and he is usuing the media to do his bidding. MSNBC, Huffington Post, etc. all progressive media turned into mainstream media.

This shoudl go on, more and more scandals will just come out of his past and damage him. Remember, the scandals and the controversies of Barack Obama has been inflicted upon himself, not by HIllary or the media. It has been by himself with his friends, his bitter comment and he again, since he has the left media, he can twist it anyway he can.

His scandals might not hurt him here during the primaries, but in the general I am dancing in anticipation to see the ads against him. (That is if he is the nominee, and he needs the white working vote and he probably wont in the swing states, and dont give me or any of the bullshit where he can say he can make battle ground states when he cant even win against hillary in primaries where democrats must win. North Carolina, is a red state and will remain Red in November---I guess you can't use that as an excuse!--and as of Missouri, he didnt even win the rural areas and that is critical--can't use that one too!---and Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Virginia,going blue? Not! will remain red---can't use that one too!!)

Hey Carl, Think about it. A person comes from nowhere, puts together an organization that can out raise Clinton's, can put together a campaign in every state and win more states and votes.

That is some amazing stuff. Hillary has to loan her campaign money and 1.5 million donors are ready to give little bit money every month to obama campaign. Obama has brought in so many young people together it is amazing. Ability to lead people, inspire them and motivate them to work for the country.

Don't you think this is sign of a great leader? I believe this is what leadership is all about. I hope dems win in Nov and I think Obama can surely win. I am sure Hillary would have won too.

If Americans are ready for Black and female secretaries of defense and state, then maybe they're ready for a Black and/or female president. The millennial generation doesn't care so much about race and gender, and they can decide this election. I've met a lot of Republicans who are voting for Obama in November, and I've met a lot of Democrats who will vote McCain if Clinton is nominated.

Thank you, NinaK I could not have said it better than you did. Negative campaigning has been a main staple in US politics since Nixon. I believe it is time to focus on ways our nation can improve, rather than insane acquaintances and bad word choices. Sensationalism is immature and America is growing out of it. However, those who support Obama need to begin asking themselves tough questions regarding his capabilities to persuade leading members of Congress, who have been 'bought off' by Big Business/Big Oil, to stop accommodating their corporate paymasters and elicit a drastic change in policies ranging from taxation, health care, education, alternative energy, globalization / outsourcing. One must also ask if generalized promises of change are really meaningful, or empty rhetoric. Obama's meteoric rise to power did not occur without compromise. Obama is weak in his position regarding alternative energy. That being said I will still vote for him. When he wins however, he must be held accountable for his promises.

Tenacity is not a plus, necessarily, in a president. George Bush has stubbornly stuck to his policies, even ignoring the Constitution, and he has left the country in a shambles. Hillary needs to learn to be more flexible, less selfish, to have more wisdom, more give and take.

It's nice to see a strong woman, but sheer stubborn bruteness has been proven ineffective.

So, when Obama supported the gas tax holiday in Illinois it was okay. When Hillary and McCain proposed it in 2008 Obama says "see, they miss the boat. The tax holiday will do no good."

If so, then why did he support it in 2000?
Someone please tell me is Obama the same old politician as the rest of the field or not?

I would be surprised if Obama has that large a lead in eastern Oregon, but Portland, well nothing surprises me here anymore. Obviously the Obama supporters have not done their homework on the guy and just believe his smooth talk.
