State Senator Kurt Schrader (D-Canby) received an endorsement from the Oregon Farm Bureau this week.
"As a farmer who has lived off the land for the past 30 years, I am extremely honored by this endorsement," said Schrader in a press release.
Oregon Farm Bureau President Barry Bushue praised Schrader in the statement. "Kurt has a lifelong professional engagement with agriculture," he said. "Over his career in public service, Kurt has crossed party lines to get positive results and demonstrated his commitment to Oregon's farm families time after time"
Schrader is currently running for congress against Mike Erickson (R-Lake Oswego) in Oregon's 5th Congressional District.
